The story follows a young female doctor who, after completing her studies with all the comforts and opportunities of city life, reluctantly takes up a job as a doctor in a remote mountain village. It explores the people she meets, the events that unfold in the village, and the mix of good and unexpected (sometimes disastrous) things that happen both in her life and in the village.
